Web 2.0
Having applications that are online can be of immense use to anyone who requires access to, and the ability to edit, their documents at the drop of a hat. This is where Web 2.0 comes in.
To give the simplest idea of what Web 2.0 is we only have to look at an email system like Yahoo! or Hotmail. To send and receive emails with these applications we only need be online through a browser. Imagine being able to edit word processor documents, spreadsheets, photos, videos and more without the need to install software.
Web 2.0 is also good because it allows us to collaborate and comment on each others work. Below are a few examples of Web 2.0 type content which may be of use to you.

There is a wealth of tools available online to aid you with backing up and editing your images. Flickr from Yahoo! is a great way to store and edit your images. Dumpr allows you to alter them and Big Huge Labs lets you create posters and other useful products from them.
